It has been absolutely beautiful around here for the last week. The kids have been on spring break and complaining to my husband that they had nothing to do. He told me that we needed to take a trip to Walmart, but he wouldn’t tell me why. He asked me on the way there if I remembered wiffle ball, and yeah I did. He said that the kids had never played it. I said ok, so why are we going to Walmart (yeah, I had a blond moment). He said, you’ll see when we get there. So, to make a long story short he got a wiffle ball bat and some wiffle balls. We played wiffle ball on Friday and Saturday. The kids invited some of their friends over for a wiffle ball tournament as they called it. I haven’t played wiffle ball in over 25 to 30 years, yeah I am telling my age. We had a blast. All the kids wanted to know when the next game was. So now we have a standing game for every Saturday around 3 p.m. After the game, we built a fire and toasted marshmallows. I guess that the next game that we are going to get is Jarts (yeah, the metal tipped darts that you chucked at your cousins, aunts and uncles at the family reunions). Well I am going to go recooperate, I hurt in muscles that I didn’t know I still had. I hope everyone had as good a weekend as I did. What are some of the games you played when you were little?
